Let's Get Started
Regardless of where we are in life there is nothing more important than knowing God. You want to know God and more of God. The only way to grow and develop a deeper, more personal, relationship with God is to commune with Him in and through His Word.
From the day we are born we begin to learn of the world around us and after 3-4 years we can walk and talk. Then we are placed in a school for at least 12 years, so that we can learn how to function and understand this physical world.
When we were in school we weren't taught random subjects of information. We were taught specific subjects in a specific order, so that we had a foundation of understanding on which to build our knowledge and education.
For instance, we didn't learn to read before we learned the ABC's and we didn't learn Algebra before we learned basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
The method of our education was taught in a specific order, so as to lay the foundation for us, to learn more advanced subjects as we gained knowledge of the basics, in each subject.
However, when we are born-again, as new creations in Christ, we are not subjected to any type of school, system of learning or foundational structure for true spiritual growth. We get saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and then go to church once or twice a week and never really see the whole/complete movie from beginning to end.
As a matter of course we are left pretty much on our own to grow and develop in our personal relationship with God. This is not a "bad" thing, if we truly have the desire to learn of Him, who He is, what was accomplished In Christ from the Cross to the Throne and who we are, as new creations In Christ.
2 Timothy 2:15
(C. B. Williams)
This is where the need for personal Bible Study is preeminent. If we don't take the time to study on our own our relationship with the Father will always be based on what someone else has told us, a second-hand relationship which will never grow nor develop.
A relationship with God cannot be based on what someone else knows, tells us or does for us. It has to be based on the effort and time we spend with God on a personal, one-to-one level.
This is the reason for the In Christ Bible Study website. To help us all grow according to the will and purpose of God for each and every one of us. To guide us into our own personal relationship with God, to learn how to hear from God on our own and do according to all He has planned for us In Christ.
Our continual prayer is that you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we believe that this website will both help and encourage you to learn who God is, what He accomplished In Christ from the Cross to the Throne and who you are
IN CHRIST NOW.
- 9 Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works
- 10 We pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work.
- 11 We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy,
- 12 thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.

One of the most ignored and important aspects of who we are and how we function is knowing ourselves. What we were created to be and do, as new creations In Christ Jesus. The place where the church misses it most is in truth, knowledge and the individual knowing who we are, who man really is.
Knowing this will definitely give you insight into how God communicates His Word to us and how our soul is transformed into His image In Christ.
